In-patient cover
For those who need to go into a private hospital for either tests or treatment and the procedures involve a stay overnight or longer.
Daycare cover
For tests or treatment in a private hospital that does not involve an overnight stay.
Daycare may also be referred to as day-case or day-patient cover.
Outpatient
For treatment, tests or consultations that do not require a stay in hospital under either In-patient or Daycare cover.
