We have launched a photography competition to help raise funds for our chosen charity, NSPCC Jersey. Established in June, the competition will run each month for the next four months. We have chosen a different theme for each month. June’s theme was ‘Happy’ and July’s is ‘Green’ which is the NSPCC’s signature colour.

There are three age categories – over 18’s 11 to 18 and 10 and under. June’s competition was judged by Matt Porteous, who is the Royal Photographer to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

All we ask entrants to do is to make a donation of any amount to the NSPCC’s Jersey Just giving page. The NSPCC, like all charities, has suffered greatly because of Covid-19. All of our fundraising events have been cancelled and so we are having to resort to new ways of trying to raise much needed funds. the amount of calls to Childline has increased significantly and we are trying to ensure that this service remains open. The photography competition is one of our events which we are running for 26 weeks to try to raise funds.
